Thank you for taking the time to do your research and learn about what I have to offer.
I have found my gift and my passion in life, and it really comes through in my massage and bodywork sessions.
Sessions with me are not like the pre-boxed massage companies that are on every corner these days. With multiple treatments, my massage will take you into deeper levels of relaxation, and the customization and the energy that I put into my massage, is very different.
The more I learn about your body through massage, and tune into what it needs, the more healing benefits you will experience, and the more aware you will become of your own body, and how you can help heal it.
In each session, not only do I use multiple and ever growing massage styles and techniques, but it also may include hot towels, hot stones, therapeutic grade aromatherapy and various other bodywork techniques. I use only high quality oils and lotions in my massage sessions.
The human body is an amazing machine that is capable of so much when provided the right environment and tools. This is my intention with every client.
I have knowledge of many different healing modalities. I attended The Healing Arts Institute in Citrus Heights, CA. They are well known for their high ethical standards and incredibly skilled teachers. I continue my education on a regular basis.
My goal is to provide open communication, with high ethical standards, high-quality client care, and bodywork that honors the body, mind and heart of each client.

At our appointment:
-
Make sure you tell Carly of any joint, rotation issues, or other areas that she needs to be careful of, or areas that are giving you discomfort.
-
During the massage, please tell Carly if your discomfort level reaches a 7 or higher. I don't want to hurt you, and I can’t feel your pain, only the tension and knots.
-
Try to focus on your breathing, and making sure your body stays relaxed. If the muscles are not completely relaxed, massage is not as effective.
-
Let Carly move your limbs, keep them limp, including your neck. I will ask for your help if I need it. Some of my techniques require the weight of your body, and some of them only work if your muscles are not helping me.
-
At any time during the massage if you need anything or have a question about what I am doing, please ask. I love to educate my clients about massage and bodywork.
-
Of course I love to chat with my clients, but I do believe most people receive the most benefits from the silence.
